Please note that due to ongoing reconstruction works, bicycle travel within the resort area of Neringa (EuroVelo route 10) is temporarily restricted. For safety reasons, biking on the Smiltynė–Nida state highway is prohibited to prevent potential accidents.

As a result, access by bicycle is currently unavailable not only to the settlements of Nida, Preila, and Pervalka but also to Juodkrantė. Cyclists traveling from Smiltynė to Juodkrantė will not be able to access the village via the bicycle path, as last year's reconstruction of a 13.5-kilometer stretch ends a few kilometers before Juodkrantė. Rest assured, the reconstruction works on the bike path are progressing smoothly. Contractors promise to complete the reconstruction of the bike path section to Juodkrantė in just over a month.

Futhermore, renovations on the Smiltynė-Nida highway section will commence soon, covering approximately 10 kilometers from Alksnynė to Juodkrantė. Traffic will be directed to one lane at a time during this period.
