Do you know the history of Curonian lagoon weathervane? And what is special about the construction of a flat-bottom kurėnas? Maybe you would like to take photos that looks like from a postcard with modest fishing boats circling the lagoon or luxurious yachts that have perhaps explored all the world's oceans... How did people live in the Curonian Spit in the old days and why was the Curonian Spit included in the UNESCO heritage list?
The 3.6 km long route "Nida coast" will help you answer these questions! The route is suitable for traveling on foot and by bike, and we recommend that one of the objects of the route - Parnidis Bay - would be covered by boat. If you're lucky, let it be a kurėnas! The route description, map and audio guide can be found here.
You can also find the route and a dozen other places of interest in Neringa in the mobile application LITHUANIAN RESORTS Google play or App store.
